Architectural Design
This detached pavilion reimagines seasonal living through architectural adaptability. Designed to function as both an enclosed living room and an open-air pool house, the structure features floor-to-ceiling bifold door systems integrated between brick columns on three sides, allowing the space to fully open to its surroundings. The design honors the main residence through its hipped roof form and brick materiality while establishing its own identity at the property's edge. A turf lawn creates a seamless connection to the pool, while the transformable enclosure responds to the seasons—sheltering occupants during summer heat and winter cold, then dissolving into a shaded pavilion when spring and fall invite outdoor living.
